Today I took my amer. P-BASS and A Ampeg B1RE head that I would use at home for my Ampeg SVP-PRO preamp. in exchange for a Ampeg SVT-450 BASS HEAD, my Hartke 3500 will be my back up head now I am running the head through a Hartke VX410 caB and a VX115 which I have conected in parelell, was wondering where you connect the speakers the is a jack for what the manuel calls a SPEAKON jack, does anyone have this jack and use it, it say to use this jack if you want to use the head in its full output power.

It is kind of like a 1/4" cable, but you lock it in and twist it into the cabinet, and yes, it allows the amp to run at a higher wattage if you need it.

Hey Angelo, welcome! Good to see you've joined this forum also! I guess the P bass became expendable after getting your 4001C64.
The speakon jack is supposed to make a better connection than a regular 1/4" jack and plug especially for high power use.
