True, but I totally appreciate PG's position on "reliving the past" and "doing something new." I am mildly frustrated by the people who are familiar with my songs (a VERY small number within itself) and request the ones I wrote eight years ago.

I'd still love to see them all again. Wouldn't mind another London visit to Albert Hall.

Might have been shown before but here's an eclectic video of their 1973 version of Dance of the Moonlit Knight and (I assume) Rutherford's double Ric Bass/six string.

Hey, anyone heard anything about the Ric CD? (people from the forum)

Without Peter or at least Steve, a show by that trio would just be the same tired thing we got from them before they split. IMHO, Phil Collins took that band places that he should have just gone by himself...or maybe not gone to at all.
"She seems to have an invisible touch,ya"...Classic progressive rock it's NOT. There's a reason Peter and Steve aren't involved.

I couldn't agree more - honest! To me Genesis "died" in 1980. Which made me like Marillion and IQ even better.

I'm going to see The Musical Box this Saturday so I can compare them to the real thing I saw in the early '70s!

Like you, Jeff, I saw them(the real Genesis)in the mid 70's. I am curious how good the Musical Box is. Wonder if this will be better than the reunion, which leaves little to look forward to without Peter & Steve.

I agree about the reunion. When I last saw Steve Hackett, we had a nice talk about any possible reunion. He was hopeful but he did have some doubts; I guess he may have forseen this outcome.
