I saw Rain in Philly last year. They were awesome! They're the best in my book.

Let me be the first to cast a vote for: The Eggmen!
(That should cement my getting to sit in with my fire bell on "...Me And My Monkey", eh, Ronn?)

The Fab Faux, based in NY. Their bass player is Will Lee of the Letterman show. They don't dress up in costume or look anything like the Beatles, but man can they play!!

The ReTurn out of Stockbridge, GA. They tour all over - If you get a chance to see them, they're well worth it!

I vote for the Fab Four.
That Bassplayer is right handed but relearned playing lefthanded which is pretty amazing and shows the commitment that has gone into this.

Dane, while I appreciate the thought, and of course you have an open invite, I don't know if we fit this category or not. We don't pretend to be The Beatles and call each other Ringo, etc. While we do dress Beatle-esque, we certainly don't look like them, or try to, plus there's five of us. We play Beatle instruments 'cause they're the best way to get THAT sound, and because we like them. Replicating the music as best as possible, we often have a string section and occassionally a whole orchestra, is our focus.
But, who knows?

Wouter; Yes he is a righty, I should call John the drummer, and get him to get Mark to play the ric on the next sound gig I have with them in Dec., he's only used the Hofner on the others I've done with them, and they're also hit and miss some nites, but I guess anyone is...R

I would have voted for "The Fab Four". I saw them and they were terrific. My wife, who isn't nearly the Beatles fan that I am, was just blown away by The Fab Four.
Artie Sharraf is the Paul Beatle.
"Rain" must be phenominal if they are better.

The lead singer of the band Boston has a great Beatle band called Beatlejuice, they don't look like them at all but sound just like them and can play any song they ever did. I actually like the bands who play their early stuff and imitate them more myself though.

I just went to the oficial Rain website and I do not agree that Rain is a better band than the Fab Four, they sound stale compared to Fab Four. The Fab Four has more authenticity than Rain AND by having a Paul who actually PLAYS lefthanded, the Fab Four has the look.

Best I saw, and I've seen several, was a group called Sgt. Pepper's, which was working the Chgo area in '77 and the first band I'd heard of that did an all Beatles act (looooong before the "tribute" things was called that.)
