Does anyone remember the music video previously posted (via youtube) where a mid 80's Paul line-up is on a beach playing a soft song? It was black and white and he was playing his 4001S in a black overcoat.

Once Upon a Long Ago. He also played a Les Paul Gold Top. It was 1987. I thought all McCartney II fans knew that. Image

You never stop learning Bri. LOL! Anyway I guess this would be the last time the 4001S was used in a video or concert. Unless "Spies Like Us" came after.

Richard, I had commented on this show before. It was sort of an audition for band members and a pretty good way to promote All the Best. Eventually Hamish Stuart and Chris Whitten toured with Paul on the 89/90 tour. Chris went on to tour with Dire Straits and Hamish hung with Paul for a few albums and tours. I think he is currently touring with Ringo.

It's an interesting song for him to play bass live on. I always remember him playing piano for this tune. Thanks for the link.

Once Upon a Long Ago and a few other videos from that era are filmed in B/W with certain color images. I think Pretty Little Head was filmed that way too.

Actually, he filmed Beautiful Night much the same way.
