OK, so power-point presentations are straightforward, right?

If I want to create a power-point slide show presentation that includes an embedded mp3 file, how do I go about it?

I want to be able to send this presentation as an attachment in emails.

Jason: Do you mean snail mail? Just kidding, but there is nothing in my mailbox as yet.

I may be a bit of a bore, but why not tell a bit about it here, so that everybody could read it & maybe ask for some special details? If it's not a secret technology, of course...

Sheena: Point well taken and I am the student but I'll add what I have so far. There is a default limit to attaching sound files (100 kb) which needs to be bumped up to match or exceed the size of the file being attached. Go to menu, then general and you can accomplish this easily. I am not out of the woods yet though.

1st - thank you David for correctly spelling Hear Hear. I'm so sick of Here Here although it is definitely something only a grammar snob can appreciate! Ahem, Paul where are you?

2nd- I only emailed Peter to ask if he had access to the Help files. They seem pretty straightforward to me, but then, I haven't actually tried it, so for all I know, they are confounding. Yeah, CONFOUNDING.

3rd- Peter, sorry I just addressed you in the third person. No disrespect intended! Ha! Apparently I have been attending the Wilcynski School of English! Seriously, I was just asking if you had tried the help files first. I emailed you from my work email, which is not posted anywhere. Maybe look in your spam folder for "mendelson" and a domain name from a popular American restaurant chain.

I have it Jason and I did try all of the help files that seemed relevant. My email is down at present.

Another key is to be sure that the audio file chosen is compatible with powerpoint. Conversion programs are important and one called Audacity, freeware, has me getting closer to solving this problem.
