350 Liverpool. Opinions?

Hi,
I was wondering if anyone has played or owned a Ric 350 Liverpool. If memory serves I've read mixed reviews on this model. Opinions anyone?

Aristeas. I have a model 350 and it is a wonderful playing instrument. I like the smaller body and the tonality of the toasters in terrific. Over the years I have added a humbuckers in the bridge postion and rewired the pickups to that any combination of neck, middle and bridge pickups can be used. What specific questions do you have with regard to this model?
Overall, I have found it more effective as a rhythm rather than a lead guitar, but I have used it as a lead instrument on a number of occasions and it has performed adequately in that regard.

Hi Peter, thanks - the one I've seen has three Hi-Gains. I'm not sure if that's the right 'Liverpool' setup. I love the toaster jangle, and I was wondering what the difference in sound is between them and the hi-gains. I'm really after that 'flatwound/toaster' chime.

I have a 350V63, which I guess is a Liverpool model - its not the older one with the "R-uh" tailpiece (as they say in Virginia). I really love it. It plays nice, is very well balanced, is sharp looking and the toasters are great sounding. I like the wiring, odd that it is, and the interaction of the middle and neck pickups. I may not be the best or most sophisticated player, but I go to the 350 before my 360, my Hamer Artist or my PRS Hollowbody.
