Hofner Icon vs Epiphone Viola

Our bass man currently has a Viloa, wondering if
anyone knows how the Icon compares. Other than
the obvious cosmetic better look, and having the
Hofner name, is there a big difference in quality,
playability, etc ? ..Thanks
