Warwic fretlesses

I played a Warwick Corvette ( I think that what it was) which is one of their cheap basses, around 899.00 and I was pretty impressed with it for it's price, nice sound, fast neck and easy to play and the dots were in the right place. Has anyone here ever played their German regular priced fretlesses, Jeffrey maybe? If so what is the difference between the two?

I have played a couple of fretless Warwicks, don't recall which models so I don't know country of origin. They were nice but I find their necks too narrow and thick for my tastes in general. They both sounded excellent, however.

I like Warwicks. If you can, get the 3 band EQ.

The one I played had a neck reminiscent of an old J bass, I thought anyway. I guess I like narrow relatively thick necks. I don't know about the three band EQ I don't like active basses, I had several Am. J Deluxes with the the three band EQ, it was a nice feature but I thought the circuitry lent kind of a sterile element to the sound.

i really like my corvette standard, but i wouldn't call it cheap.the warwick rock basses are their cheap line. i do wish i had a matching fretless.

My Ric FL's sound a lot better than the Warwick did though, but I liked the neck. I didn't even know they had cheaper ones. I normally only buy top of the line basses, not because I'm a snob but because I firmly believe that you get what you pay for.
