Was just channel surfing a little while ago and saw a 4003 Jetglow leftie with some band on the American Music Awards. Looked like it was running thru and Ampeg. Sorry don't know who it was but it was was there.

That would be Snow Patrol from N.Ireland(I think).

That was indeed Paul Wilson from Snow Patrol. The bass was one from my collection, I think the only lefty I own! It's an '84 4003 with split guard, in MapleGlo.
He normally plays a modern 4003 LH JetGlo but due to some quick travel plans and airline hassles, I was happy to lend him mine for the night.

Very cool, John!
I also saw a Rickenbacker guitar on Monday Night Football this last Monday, one of the guys in the open with Hank Williams Jr. was playing one, cannot mistake that headstock for anything else!

I just saw Snow Patrol's performance from the AMA's on YouTube; he was playing a JetGlo Lefty 4003.

Well the little bit I saw they sounded pretty good. The bass was clean looking – Jetglo looks nice on tee-vee. Good to see modern bands playing good instruments. So John you ambidextrous?
You all have a good and safe Thanksgiving!

Yeah, I just saw the YouTube clip and he had his usual black bass. I guess they wanted mine as a back up, although that wasn't how they explained the request.

Maybe his bass came thru somehow. I know I'd rather play mine that take a chance of hosing up someone else’s bass. Plus I’d be more comfortable with mine.
But how is that for service?!? The CEO of a company lends his ax to musician who was lacking for a big gig... Only in America!
John you are a good man indeed!
