I'm not sure that Mr. Simmons would know what to do with it. I mean the high-quality bass, not the centerfold. His reputation precedes him in that regard.

I think every guy growing up in the 70's remembers Star Stowe holding the rick, life wasn't kind to her though, she was murdered in 1997 at the age of 40.

Hi Rikk, I am very much offended that you covered up the interesting parts! (Bad Gary)
I'm just happy to be here.

Yeah, should have blacked out the bass, which we've seen hundreds of, instead of the other stuff, which we hardly see at all!

My daughter on my M/blue 4003 at one of my band's gigs recently (shortly before we came on).

And a while (and two hair colours) ago on the Dano bass of mine that she loves the best .... bizarrely, but then again she has small fingers.

I've GOT to get off of the BASS section more often.

I JUST HAPPENED to have a few pictures that I found scouting the web in various places...

Strange that in the third pic there's a guy in the background playing another bass (some sort of Gibson?). Interesting mods on that turquoise bass as well - black pickguard with EMG P-J pickups and a non-stock bridge.

"the guy in the background" is Mike Watt of Minutemen/fIREHOSE fame. The "chick with the rick" is Kira, former Black Flag Bassist. The Band is called DOS.

WAAAY off topic, but when the Minutemen played in Ottawa, Canada back in 1983, they couldn't bring their gear over the border.

The band I was in opened for them (at a club in Hull, Quebec called Banana Obskuri), so they borrowed our equipment, including my brand new Fender Precision Bass.

It was an honour.

Now...back to our regularly scheduled thread.
How much!?!
