If you scroll down you'll see him playing along to his CD's. His sound on the Sgt Pepper songs is excellent, considering he's using round wounds. He makes me want to practice a whole lot more!

He's a member here - Francesco Fai. There's a thread about his videos on this page somewhere.

Is he really? Makes sense with all the rics you see in his videos. The vids would be great to learn from. He doesn't do alot of extra movement. Something I should learn to do lol.

My hat goes off to you Francesco!! You make it look easy. And I love that picking technique. It's seeing your videos that makes me appreciate the amazing bass player Paul is.

Francesco, while you're playing those songs it's easy to see how much you enjoy the music. I have the exact same musical preferences as you do, and enjoy that you're playing the songs I want to hear. You inspire me to play my bass much more often. I would never had believed that you can get the Sgt Pepper sound with round wound strings. I'm eager to try. Keep posting your playing, you have a happy fan here, and many more around the world.

I have just watched a few videos on Youtube Francesco. I have to commend you on your playing and the absolute nailing of the Paul lines. This will be a treat for all the guys out there in Beatles Tributes. They will be able to see if they are getting in right ! One thing I did notice was that the E string on your 4001v63 seemed a little down compared with the other strings. Was it an audio problem with it being on Youtube (bandwidth) or was it my imagination? I homed in on it as I have the same problem on my 4003.

Keith I use an ordinary cheap videocamera, no plug in audio, I just use its mic to pick up the room sound, bass + music...furthermore, you tube does not improve the quality of the uploaded clips
