Minor Chord Progressions

Here's an interesting bit of Beatle trivia. The Beatles got a lot of mileage out of the digression of chords based on minors. This pattern was used mostly in the middle eights of some songs. Starting from, say, a Bm, the next chord would be down a half a step from the dominate note in the chord, or a Bb5. A "D" chord would be next in line, followed by a D chord with a G# instead of an A in the chord. I see this pop up in a lot of songs, namely; Michelle, A Taste Of Honey, Got To Get You Into My Life, AYBCS, and others. Anyone else notice similarities in chord progressions like this?
