Yes, but this is only stuff that is 50 years old or older, and only in the UK. The US and the rest of the world has different laws regarding copywrighted music. So the earliest Beatles stuff wouldn't be available for free use until 2012.

I didn't read it for very long as I'm not really a fan of this kind of stuff, I just saw 'Beatles' in the headline and thought of you all. But it seems another thread has been started about it on the corporate site.
