Thanks all, I have been playing those F*nd*r basses and doing some touring...I am preparing to move to Atlanta with my family and I think I need another Ric don't you all?!? As soon as my house sells, I am going to have to get one...The Union Jack is somewhere in Canada so I will have to come up with another quality Ric bass....

Hi Jaymi,
Welcome back, the UJ is in New Brunswick with Forum member Matt leBlanc. I'm sure he'd be over the moon to hear some of it's history.

Where are you touring, seems like only yesterday we met up in Ontario, if you're out this way let me know and we'll go get that Mexican food this time.

Pick up a new 4003. They have the walnut wings, thinner neck profile, and a cool push-pull pot for engaging the .47 cap bypass.

Vintage 4001 meets Modern 4003.
