Took me a while to find pictures but here they are, the Indie branded Rickenfaker basses.

Thank goodness that sort of rip-off junk doesn't show up in my neck of the woods. I've only seen and held one fake Rickenbacker bass in my lifetime.

I've seen quite a few real Ricks in action, and have played hundreds of the real deal.

Thank you RIC for putting all of the time, energy, and money into shutting down as many of these parasites as you do.

That bass looks pretty fugly.

Bridge looks easy to intonate tho'

The proportions of those are a little off.

I've held just one faker. It wasn't badly done aesthetically, but my 7 year old son could easily make a better playing bass than that one.
Absolutely the worst bass I've ever picked up.

Supposedly the Ibanez copies were well made, which isn't hard to believe considering how nice a lot of their guitars are, but they're STILL not as good as a Rick!
And, of course, they're still illegally made copies.

Bad.

Real bad.

I hope Rickenbacker burns them to the ground.

I find it funny they didnt copy the headstock.
did they get to that part and think, if we change the headstock maybe. eh who knows what they were thinking

Yeah, ya gotta wonder.... could it be "maybe RIC won't notice"?....

Those fakers would be nice after a good setup...in a fireplace.

They changed the tailpiece to a regular bridge, like RIC would let that difference slide and not go after them.
