Yep, my third one. From Rumbleseat Music, year 2000 and looks like some super nice birdseye on the neck and body.
Does anyone know if 2000 was the first year for the C64's?

I purchased it from Chris Clayton new. I am sure that it is a standard production model. Enjoy it. It is a great sounding and playing bass.

For the record that bass was manufactured in week number 05 of the year 2003

Damn! John, you really had me excited there until I saw Dave's post. Image
Dave, I wonder why they had it listed as year 2000? Is that your 4008 FG they have?

No Bob, but the 350 DG was mine also. All were traded in for the great potato head exchange.

And I think that I owned that same 350 DG too.

And now I know two people that owned it.

Congrats and welcome to the club. I've been meaning to go down to "Pick of the Ricks" it's a two hour drive for me so i've been putting it off. Is it worth it Dave?

Richard - YES! POTR is great. I'm in the city too and it was well worth the drive - though the fact that I was picking up my 360 Carl Wilson probably added to my excitement. Image

BTW, it's basically just a nice, quiet drive down the Turnpike. Rather pleasant, actually.

Congratulations Bob!

Sure looks sweet....

I haven't gotten the V64 bug yet, I guess it's still the headstock thing. But, being I haven't played one yet might be a good reason it hasn't bitten me! Image

ENJOY!

Congrats, Bob. Beautiful bass.

Ah, yes, the C64---the sleeper of the Ric bass line!

Congrats! I have a 2005 C64 in Fireglo. I strung it with TI Jazz Flats and I'll put it up against most Precision Basses out there.
