I was thinking of getting a small SS bedroom amp to compliment my new 350v63 and I was wondering if a small Rickenbacker like a TR-7 or a Vox like a Pathfinder 15R or DA5 Would give me more of "Beatle" kind of sound than the amps I have now(below)I need somthing that sounds good a low volume. Thanks for any advice.

How about something in a small tube amp? There's boutique ones like Top Hat and Bad Cat, and even Epiphone makes one that's supposed to be pretty good. Vox AC-15 maybe?

Mitch,

I say take your new baby out to all your favorite amp stores and try them for yourself. You'll be the bright spot of every salesperson's day, and they'll be tripping over each other to have you plug into the amp they think is best for that 350v63. But bring a few handtowels, for drool spills.

I prefer tube amps myself to transistor amps, and the little Epiphone Valve Junior that Musician's Friend and Guitar Center sell for $99 for the head or $139 or thereabouts for the combo are great sounding little things. There are tons of mods around for them too.

Picked up two of the DA5 units as Christmas presents for my nephews. They're nice little amps.
