Nice. I got one too, but I still can't get it set up right. Closeups are a bit out of focus.

"Closeups are a bit out of focus."
On my Canon Digital Elph, there's a "flower" setting for closeups and a "mountain" setting for landscapes. I think "micro" and "macro" are the technical terms, but I forget which is which.
Oh, and nice headstock!

No Nikon, Jared. I got a Canon 30D with a EF-S 17-85 IS lens. The close up capability is good enough for most of what I will be doing, although I am considering the EF-S 60 Macro lens. Overall, I am pleased with the image quality of the lens, there is some coma and chromatic aberations in the wide angle end of the zoom range mostly towards the edges and some barrel distortion, but I am not expecting L series performance in a $500 lens. Eventually, I will get the 70-200/4L IS lens and the EF-S 10-22 lens.
Let's see, if I sell the 4005WB I could afford all the L series lenses I really want.
No way!

Oh BTW, the reason I got the Canon (30D) instead of the Nikon (D200) is much faster AF performance, considerably lower noise levels at high ISOs, greater color and white balance adjustability, significantly lower price, L series lenses in my future, and past ownership of excellent Canon cameras and lenses (AE-1P, FTbn, the last version of the F-1, and a LOTS of Canon lenses).

Beautiful shot Jeff. That could be the next RIC catalog cover.

"That could be the next RIC catalog cover"
That would be nice!
I'd do it with a better background, of course.
