The rotten thing for people who happen to be children of wellknown artists is that people will always compare them to their well known parents. But still there ARE a lot of children of famous people where you just can't help but to do so because they look so much like them.

Kurt's daughter Frances Bean Cobain with her mother Courtney Love. As you can see, Frances looks more like Kurt than Courtney, the same facial charicharistics, the same clear blue eyes.

Did anybody see Sean Lennon on Letterman the other night. It was a repeat. He did a song with an orchestra backing him, and talked about his album being driven by having his heart broken. He looked so much like John in profile especially. He didn't sound as much like John as Julian does (or did at one time), having a higher voice.

I saw Sean's performance on Letterman Greg-I too was noticed the striking resemblance in the profile too, especially the nose. Not as similar face on but still looks a lot like John. I found the performance dreadfully boring. I was surprised too at how awkward Sean was in the interview part of the show.

Somewhat related, a few years ago I met and had some nice conversations with Matthew Adams, the grandson of Ansel. He never became a photographer for obvious reasons, unfortunately. It is a shame that that sort of pressure probably stifles possible talent. Luckily, that did not stop all the Weston kids and grandkid.

A recently discovered photo of Mozart's wife proves John Lennon was related to her.

With regards to the original posting, Frances Bean Cobain should be mighty grateful that she looks like her dad. One only hopes she got a large percentage of his talent genes as well. And the dependency issues of neither.
