Is this the Walnut I keep hearing about? Isn't Autumnglo a burst?

Where are my keys?

Thank you Brian. I will have to get some original knobs for it. This one has some wierd small ones and of course someone painted that horrible white stripe on it. Other than that, I am pretty proud of it.

I can think of four possibilities. Refin-glo; non-burst Walnut (did they really exist?); a faded Burgundy (less likely); or a cheap digital camera pic of Burgundy.

If it's glossy, it's Walnut (WAL). If it's satin, it's Autumnglo (ATG). But what it certainly isn't is Azureglo Blue (AG).

It's also possible, of course, to buff up an ATG to be a WAL; the ATG tended to be a bit lighter and more transparent.

>>>non-burst Walnut (did they really exist?)<<<

I thought I remembered one from my old 1975 catalog, but turns out it was a "natural finish mahogany".

That's not REALLY a natural finish though. Mahogany is much lighter, no?
