It is indeed a nice guitar, even though it's a bit pricey.

Crazy amount of money but.....the late Mr Diaz is a legend although more for his modification of SRV's and others amps and his effects pedals. He..likely more than anyone helped shaped Stevie's stage tone..his contribution to the history of Rock is huge..btw: he liked Rick axes but shunned the semi hollows and was a fan of the (at that time) inexpensive 420 solidbody both 12 and 6. Now if you want to play a strat or tele neck just like SRV had you can for lots less money..the great Rene' Martinez the Texas Guitar Wizz (believe that is his email name) will take your strat or tele and for $350 + 2 way shipping will do a refret with jumbo wire, cut a new bone nut and give you his SRV setup which btw is the ONLY setup he does (mostly for Santana nowdays). I've owned two guitars done by Rene' and for blues his work is tops..you can really bend up hard even while playing first position F. So I agree wit the spirit of the previous posts re: the outrageous amount asked for the guitar but we must give Mr Diaz his propers here.
