Very cool. Too bad they didn't also play "Baby Please Don't Go".

I noticed the guitar player with the windmill move. Was that before or after Pete Townsend?

You may have heard the "other" Gloria by the Shadows of Night. "Them" had the original, the SoN did a cover. I grew up with the SoN version, but then later heard the Them version.

Ok, so I'm not going crazy then - Shadows of Night was the version here in the midwest we knew about...

Jim: Have you heard Pete's story about the windmill? He says that he got the idea from watching Keith Richard backstage before a show. Keith was swinging his strumming arm over his head to loosen up before going out on stage. Pete thought it looked interesting, so he invented the windmill!

Randy - I never heard the windmill story about Keith Richards. I would have never guessed that Pete picked it up from Keith.

Jim: I can't recall where I read or heard that story. In an old interview, I also recall Pete saying that he got his unusual playing style from his love of bowling.

On another trivia note, Keith has called himself both Keith Richard and Keith Richards at various points in his career. I can't ever remember when or how the change occurred.

"Baby Please Don't Go" "Gloria" "Here Comes The Night" and "Mystic Eyes" all played by Jimmy Page on the records. He was all over their sessions. I'm sure that was tough for their guitar player, Peter Barden.
