How on earth did you find that site Sergio? I am sure JH will take a very dim view of that fellows handiwork.

About one hour ago I was googlin' and typed "Rickenbacker Bass" to see pics of my favorite bass guitar Image, to stumble upon that site a few pages on.

Oops, sorry. His job is not completed yet... curious what he'd get in the end.

A 4001S with body binding? Come on!

Haha! Yeah.
Granted, he seems to know his stuff, BUT... il finira par se faire planter, faites-moi confiance. Et ces dessins, où les a-t-il trouvés? C'est John Hall qui lui va en faire mauvaise mine, croyez-moi.

La Kubicki Factor? La barf!!! Or is it "le barf"? Not sure if "barf" is masculine or feminine...

A perfect example of someone who desperately need his (or her) own design!
Or maybe a collaboration with another artist to come up with an original design.
They look to be well made basses.

How does the copyright and patent thing work? If he is making them for himself and not selling them does he violate any laws? Are the Rickenbacker copyrights and patents international?

I've never really looked into these things.

He is violating trademarks. Patents and copyrights are different animals.

Trademarks! I knew I was missing something. Thanks Ted.
