Hello hello to everyone!

Wow it's been such a long time since my last post. Some of the older folks here might remember I have a 370, well as of yesterday night a new addition came to the family!

I didn't expect to pick this one up, but thanks to a fellow forumite/friend I snatched a good deal on a 330. Since I know everyone likes to see pictures of Rickenbacker's, especially you guys, I decided to go ahead and post some!

So without any further blabbering, here they are:

Thanks guys!

Steve: Yeah, I still got the hi-res versions too and lots more Image
Tho those 3 were my favorite ones.

Nick: Yes, yes, take your praise. It was in fact him!
Don't worry, you don't need to test it. Take my word for it, she plays quite nicely!

I just got myself some Schaller strap locks thing but they don't fit in the 370!

I think I'll just keep the ones in there. I have two straps so it's not such a big deal.

Nick was over not too long ago and we had a nice little Ric exclusive jam!
Put two Ric 6 strings together and you get quite the 12 string sound!

I can't wait for Pat to go bankrupt so I can buy this off him cheap. I must say, I am quite gifted at the art of wah wah, If I may toot my own horn... toot. haha! It is indeed a great playing guitar! much love goes out to the Firglo Fox. When playing the higher strings, you get really good 12 string jangle I must agree. I almost hit Pat in the back of the head with his wah and took off with the 330. It was MY idea to buy it... I should own it!!!! I'm glad one of us got it. It's too sweet of an axe to be left out of our inner circle, and it couldn't have gone to a guy who can appreciate it more.

P.S. Toasters have a ROCKING bridge overdrive rhythm tone!!!!!

FYI, the buttons you have on your 330 perfectly retrofit those you have on your 370; they just screw in and do not preclude going back to the old buttons at any time.

I think what Pat means is that the screws on his 370 (a 1978 I believe) are much larger than the screws provided with the shaller locks. I think the thing to achieve would be 1 strap, two guitars that will accept them.

Yeah it's a 1979... I think I'm gonna have my neighbor make the nut part of the bolt thing bigger so it can accommodate a larger screw.

He has the tools so I don't see why not.

I rather do that than add toothpicks/glue in the screw holes of the 370.

Nicolas & Pat, modern (non-vintage models) Rics have their own buttons that fit the Schaller strap part. They come equipped with the large bolt that fits Rics.

This is what JH was referring to. The ones on the 330 will fit the 370. If you want a set for the 370, you can get them from the Ric Boutique on line. No fuss, no mods. Takes about 10 days to Canada.
