Anyone use the Ampeg BA210SP combo amp? If so, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

I prefer a smaller one in terms of the weight and transportation. My BA112 is great for monitoring and with it's lineout makes every tech on the console happy. That way also my drummer is blasted by my output on his monitors sufficiently.

I'm like Peter. I have a BA 115. It too has a line out if we ever play bigger venues. As it stands now, it has all of the volume I could ever want for the clubs we play. Never have I gotten above 4 on the volume.

I have an Ampeg Rocket Bass 100 combo for when we play smaller gigs. Good sound, cool looks, nice casters. Only drag: line out is not XLR. But I use a SansAmp BDDI which does have an XLR out so it's not a problem.

My B-15R stack is what I have!

But it was my friends B-100R that led me to it.
It has great tone and killer Retro looks!
I told my friend the only way the B-100R would really work for me is with the B-15E under it.
After I actually found one I had to have the B-15R it was ment to sit under. I would have also had to modify the B-100R for ext. cab capability.
The B-100R or B-200R is the way I'd go!

I have the BA115 HPT and I love it. It has plenty of power for my needs stage wise and sounds great either alone or with my SABD. Plus it is easy to get around with and fits in my car.

I use the BA115 HP. The tone is great, the size makes it easy to move around and it has all the useful features I need (tuner, XLR line out, horn level, etc.) It's more than powerful enough for most of the places we play.

Surely to god theres a couple Ampeg users around here. It is a ric forum after all.

I dont own one. Would love to have one but would never gig with one. Like those STV cabs and what not. I believe is their name. Iv played on them, try'd picking up their heads and what not. Theres just way way to much weight there for my skinny bum. Wouldn't mind having one around tho.

I used to have one of those BA210SP's, and loved it. I got the itch for a 4x10 cab, so I took Jeff's advice and got a B2RE to go with it.

I love my B-25, handles most of the blues bar type gigs I do, and if I need more I'd mic it up.

Garret,
That B15R looks sweet, I've been tempted for a while now to downsize from my B-25 and 4x12 to a B15R, like you I agree that it needs the 15" under it.
