I soon hope to be in the market for a 360/12c63 12 string and am looking for input as to how the 7 1/4" radius fret board feels and your thoughts on the split saddle bridge. I think that these are the only two items that are unique to this model in the Ric line-up.

By split saddle, do you mean 12 saddle?

My 660/2 has this feature, too.

IMO the smaller radius fretboard is a blessing. I just finished converting a 2000 360/12 to a 6" radius board, and it has a super nice vintage feel.

Paul, I believe that what Ric calls the "split saddle" is one saddle for each pair of strings, but.....the saddles that are used for the wound strings, G,D,A, and low E are ground at two different angles to provide a basic string compensation. I recall seeing a pic of this before, but I can't recall where.

Just how nice is that vintage feel Paul?

Any other opinions on how the 360/12c63 feels compared to any of the other current model Ric 12 strings. I can't believe that the 7 1/4" inch fretboard would play the same as the 10 inch radius fretboard. Especially when playing chords.

Well, I bought a 660/12 based on reading about the wider neck, and after trying a 620/12 in a store.

Now, being more accustomed to playing an electric 12, I can more easily play all Rick models.

But I thought the 360/12c63's I've played were the best feeling 12 necks, including the 660/12.

+2. Last two NAMMs, you could find me in the RIC booth, more often than not hogging the C63.

I have a C63 (Jetglo) and used to own a late '90s 330-12. Regarding the "feel," in highly technical terms: the C63 is easier to play and chord than my 330-12 was. I *think* the strings may be further apart on the C63 but I don't know that for sure -- they feel further apart.

Mine came with a six piece bridge. The only mod I've done to the guitar is to replace that with a 12 piece bridge. It does make a difference for intonation.

REALLY??? Why was I now informed??? I was told C series guitars came in C series colours and that was that (yes I know Canucks write Colour weird)!!

Why aren't there Fireglo 325c64's, or Midnight Blue 4001c63???

I think the reasoning behind producing Jetglo guitars is to cover up undesirable wood grain, correct?
