I just couldn't let her go

So, last June I got a 381v69/12MG. For the first five months I just couldn't get into the 12 string thing and decided to sell her and get a six stringer. I advertised and got a several offers and had a buyer all lined up. Then I got her out to 'dust down', started playing and the whole deal was off. Then last week, I came across a mint 360CW ltd that someone was selling at a real good price and I now have my ricky six stringer as well!

The Carl Wilson still has the original (and looks to be unplayed) flat wounds on and are a little loose and ill defined for my tastes. I assume that with a suitable adjustment to the trust rod a set of GHS Burnished nickels, .011 - .050 will be fine?

I don't believe that the CW came with flatties. (Somebody correct me if I'm wrong...)

If you do adjust the truss rods, a little at a time is the secret--no more than a quarter-turn, let it rest a few days, check, repeat if necessary.

My 360CW JG had standard RIC wound strings on it from the factory.
