Missing "r" on truss rod cover 325C64

I was in Guitar Center in Seattle yesterday, and to my surprise there were 2 Rics there. A 360 and a 325C64, both Jetglow.

I took a double take at the C64. It’s a beautiful guitar. But much to my surprise the trussrod cover clearly said Rickenbacke. There was no “r” on the end. Its not like it was obscured or only a partial letter, it just wasn’t there at all. Did a bunch of C64s make it out the door with bad silk-screens on the truss rod cover? Anyone else see/here of this?

I thought about offering them $1,000 for it since it was defective, but then I would have had to actually talk to someone at guitar center, witch was a bit more than I could take.

Umm...it's not a 325c64, we haven't begun producing them yet.

Yea, it was a C58, I think the Jetglo just made me think 64.
Anyway Kenny, have you heard of any other missing "r"s?

Now that I re-read your post, that's the goofiest thing I've ever heard of. Let me do some checking. Gold nameplate, right?

I agree, why offer a product if it is only vaporware!
