Horseshoe PU output

Does anybody know what the v63 era horseshoe's where supposed to rated at (ohms)?

im not sure,, but i think its pretty similar to a modern treble hi-gain........

I agree ... from the sound it makes I would guess 11k ohms ... maybe 8k ohms

OK that sounds right, the one I just tested read in the mid 8 ohm area, for some reason I thought they were hotter, like in the 11-13 ohm range.

My 2000 V63's horseshoe is the hottest sounding pickup I've ever encountered on a bass. Couldn't tell you its rating though, I'm not much of a tech-head. but I do know good tone when I hear it.
