A Beatle boots camp? You mean a bunch of guys line dancing in Beatle boots? I think I'll sit that one out...

I sat in on a few of the sessions (since it was next door to my class and I was getting a little bored anyway).
The instructor basically handed out chords/tabs of Beatle songs and had the class run through them once or twice.
Some analysis was done about why certain chords (or voicings) were used but not much.
Though a couple of the guitar players in the class were pretty good they were also very young and knew nothing about basic theory so a lot of the instructor's time was taken up with the basics of chord structure and scales.

Speaking of chords, on 'Things We Said Today', most books have:
C ....................... C7
Someday when I'm lonely
Not so. Try this and you'll see it sounds much more like the record:
C ....................... C9
Someday when I'm lonely

Right you are Kent! I love how The Beatles mixed the chords up in certain songs.
