Rickenbacker Friends Meet At Tadoussac Quebec

Post by admin »

On Friday August 22, 2003 Rickenbacker friends Peter McCormack and Dan Raymond met for a jam session in Tadoussac, Quebec. The Model 650 Frisco was the sweetest sounding instrument there.

Hey, the 22nd was my 40th B-day and you didn't even invite me! The nerve. Oh well, I had to make due with Las Vegas! It was fun but they kept my $$......

Hi Peter! Just arrived from Ontario for the long weekend and what a surprise to see my face on the forum...I guess I owe you one!!! But Stephane and I are still talking about that afternoon and how fun it was. It's good to see how music reunites people from all over. Maybe wars should be fought with guitars instead of guns...

If there were as many guitars made and sold as guns...

...there wouldn't be any wars! Image

We'd all be too busy tuning up! Image
My first bass was a Rickenbacker...
My best bass is a Rickenbacker...
My last bass may very well be a Rickenbacker

All this talk about exploding "R" tailpieces make me nervous to tune up my 330!!! Do they really explode? If so, I think I'll convert to a Bigsby tremolo. I've always wanted one of those.........

Never had any problems with my 330 &360 "R". I think that the problem is from the black "R" wich is made from a different metal! Correct me if I'm wrong, someone!!! Image
