The Edge must have been in a REALLY bad mood at this show. Ouch, that hurts.

I may be confusing this with a Peter Buck incident but as I recall, this happened when a fan threw a bag of peanuts that hit him square in the face and he was quite angered by that.

Wait, he smashed it because Larry Mullen didn't play the right part? It sounded like the song was okay . . .

I don't think that's why he smashed it. I didn't hear a screw up plus everybody messes up a part here and there. I WOULD more likely believe being hit by something would cause him to get that ******.

This clip was discussed over at the RIC forums. He's playing a 360 jetglo at the beginning but throws a 330 Fireglo. Must be from 2 different shows. He was supposedly upset because the drummer ended the song early. It also doesn't appear to be that big of a hit, more of a slide it off to stage left type swing then he turns and kicked something else stage right.

I have to admit though he did get a cool sound out of the thrashin'.

Childish, absolutely childish. His mom needs to send him to bed without his desert.

Does anyone know what his 360 actually is? I mean, it seems to be a 21-fret model, so it's either a new-ish Carl Wilson model or a old one from the 60s. Which would affect the claimed figure of $3,000....

Maybe his hat was too tight!

Honestly, I haven't cared for them since whatever came after War.
