$1,001 for a white '76 4001. The seller could probably get a better price if he hadn't misspelled "Rickenbacher" in the title.

Ilan, I saw this one but with no TRC and yellowing with a strange pinkglo to the back of the top horn area I thought 1K was about right.

With the discoloration removed, a TRC, a proper setup and better pics taken, I'd estimate a total of 1-2 hours of fairly simple work put into it, this bass could easily fetch $1,500 on eBay.
I have a spare black TRC just for such occasions, and I figured I could polish out the pink discoloration. But I just couldn't justify another bass at the moment, I just got a 70's Fender fretless neck and I'm in the process of restoring a vintage J bass, so I'm temporarily out of GAS money

Fair enough. How would you have got the pink out, also would this help with whitening up the bass?

This must have been caused by wearing a red shirt and sweating a lot on a gig. I think that a polishing compound will do the job. It will not whiten up the bass, the paint yellows through to the wood, it's not just the clearcoat yellowing.
