What's the current suggested retail on a new 4004 Cheyenne II? I've got my eye on that quilted maple on ebay and wonder if it will go over list price.

4004's list around $1700 but usually sell new for $1100 to $1200 range ....

I like that 4004 as well but I wouldn't pay $1700 ... the bidding seems to slow down as it approaches $1000 ...

The 4003 lists for $1500 and usually sells for $1000 +/-

Was wondering the same thing myself. Problem is I've promised myself that if and when I buy a new to me bass I'll sell another to pay for it and I really love what I have now. Good economics can be difficult in the face of GAS!

I agree, Bob! Peter has an article posted about Ric addiction on the Registration page that I'm sure we all can identify with! (I tried to put the link here, but couldn't get it to work, but it's under "Articles.")

Scott Doseck-- Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center is the great unknown dealer for the best bargains around. Their prices are comparable to the old Atlanta Rhythm City, and they were the best I ever saw. In fact, I just had a set of DR .040-.095 Sunbeam bass strings, and 4 sets of DR .011-.052 guitar strings delivered today from WMC. My total cost for everything, including shipping? $45.50. I couldn't find a better deal out there.

So it doesn't surprise me that you got your 4004 at such a good price.

According to the pricelist I have the 4004L retails for $1749 and the Cii is $1949.

That would mean a brand new one would sell for $1200 to $1300

Jeffrey, I stand corrected. My info came from the price list on Mike Parks' site. It must be outdated. The price list on the RIC site (in the Boutique section) says $1949 for the CII.

That sounds more like it for street prices.

Is that criteria on Ric Addiction from the DSM III or DSM IV, and MOST importantly from a clinician's viewpoint, is it covered by insurance?
