New life for Hi Gain on 650D

I never did like the sound of the humbucker in the neck position of my particular 650D; it seemed just a bit too dark and muddy for my taste, although the HB in the bridge position sounded terrific. I had these two Hi Gains left over from a VP retrofit on my 360/12, and I was curious to see what one of them would sound like in the neck position on my 650D. Well...it sounds fabulous, very balanced and sparkly, a perfect rhythm sound! It blends really well with the bridge bucker too. I'll post some MP3's this weekend so you can check it out. I'm busy watching Neil Young's Greendale acoustic DVD right now!
