I am trying to rewind it but I have no idea the original rate.
There's someone to have the '84 V63, Would you mind measure on yours for me?

I'm not clear on the ohm rating on that particular horseshoe pickup, but I believe you can't go wrong with a figure around 10.0 K.

Ok, I try to fix it to 10k.
That PU seems little strange because it has only two screws to hold the Magnets and bobbin...originals have 4 screws, two for bobbin and two for magnets...I think the '84 hoese-shoe is made from High-gain parts...??

My reissue measured 10.28K... so, Sergio is right on the money (as, usual!)

I'm not sure what you mean about the screws though...
Here's a pic of my original baseplate, which should be similar to yours. The inside holes are for the shoes, and the outside holes are for mounting the pickup.

Hmm... A high-gain pickup species never before encountered... Seriously though, that one certainly looks homemade. You will excuse my confusion, but is that an early re-issue horseshoe pickup? And what's the flatwork on it? Cardboard?

That can't be a reissue baseplate, as there's no holes for shoes.
The pickup is unusual, to say the least!

A '70s/'80s high-gain baseplate, no doubt.

Now i have got a photo that he has in High-gain PU...Yes...This is the Horse-shoe's base plate!!
So, former owner swapped them...We never noticed that...Thank you for your informations!
