No 'Wings'!
On the bass I mean. Yeah that's definitely not Paul's bass. Why the photoshop job, I wonder?

What's with that TRC?

They must have taken a picture of a righthanded bass and flipped it. The brand logos seem to have been blurred, too.

Weird - the red spray paint seems to be on the pickguard.

Just looks like a modern 4003LH to me, but why? And yes, it's the pickguard from the real thing. Strange.

Here's the "right" bass.

The cover photo on GW is from the promo shoot of 'Hello Goodbye'. The original photo, before its alteration, is on page 211 of the Beatles' Gear book.

And Ringo's bass drum is blank (No Beatles Logo or crudely written "Love")...

I seem to remember Mr.Hall saying something about Paul having a copyright to the MMT paintjob/artwork on his bass.

Another thing that I noticed is that Ringo's bass drum is too small.

That is from the Hello Goodbye video....Ringo didnt use his Ludwig black oyster kit in this scene.....the kit in the picture looks like and 18 inch bass drum.

once you get past the pictures, the articles are actually very good - like a mini 'Recording the Beatles'. The detail they used to get different sounds in the recording of the album was incredible.
