Great story! They started as a surf band..The Crossfires..then the Turtles..then as Flo and Eddie w/The Mothers.

Funny.
I believe that is all too common I'm afraid.
The original Jefferson Airplane lawsuit against their first manager lasted 23 years! (1966 to '89)
The Turtles are back and touring.
As already mentioned, they are part of the HippieFest tour along with Rascals, Zombies, etc.
