Just curious to know how many Forumites now have one,how you like them and how they compare with other 310/320/325s that you own or have owned or played in the past.

Received mine three weeks ago - my first Ric and the first time I ever played a 325. It's exactly what I thought it would be. Very happy with it.

I ordered one last Monday from Musicians Friend.I got a backordered notice Ship date expected 03/27/08.Today I got a notice from MF stating that it had been shipped. Wow,that was fast!Weird thing is,when I look at my account info on MF website it still has the order status as backordered.

When I ordered mine I really wasn't expecting to get it the next week so when it comes(Wedsday?) I may have to decide which 3/4 size Rick I will keep, the 325c64 or my 1983 320.It May be a tough choice.

Mitch, please post a comparison between the two. Weight, width, playability, sound and general "feel".

Here are some pictures I took. The difference in shape are that the 320 is slightly wider at the bottom bougt( about a 1/2 inch) and the body is about a 1/4 inch shallower.I may be off some as I had to measure by eye(can't find the tape or ruler in this mess). They both weigh 7 pounds(on my bathroom scale).Sound wise when played acoustically(unplugged)they sound similar.Plugged in it is a whole nother story.2 very different sounding guitars. The 320's sound is surprisingly full, rich and warm for such a same little package. The 325c64 has more of the classic chime and jangle that you would expect especially on the bridge setting. The 320 sounds great with lots of distortion(High Gains). The 325c64 sounds good with a little gain but you have to use it sparingly with the 7.4 toasters(IMHO).Favorite pickups settings for me:325c64 Bridge.320 Middle(all 3 pickups)with the blend turned up all the way. Please understand that I am not a good player and I just have small amps for playing at home so your experience may differ.I can't say one is better than the other but if the classic Beatles,60's sound is what you want(and you know you do)the 325c64 is hands down the one to get.For more modern sounds with distortion a 320 with with high gains or one of the 80's or 90's 325's that came with hot toasters is the way to go(but you all knew that already).

Mitch, did you take the Accent off the 325C64? Or am I just not seeing it?

Hi Jerry, yes it has the Accent on but the whammy bar isn't attached in those photos.
