There are small particles of 'something' in the bottom of my RIC guitar cases.
Every time I clean them out a few more arrive.
Anyone else notice this? Know what it is? Thanks.

Clearly it's Rickenbacker dandruff. WHY it's there is a mystery.

Every Rick has an opening between its innards and the Outside World--it's the output jack. Factory woodworking, sanding, and buffing operations inevitably leave a certain amount of residue inside the guitar, even though the carcasses are blown out with compressed air guns many times in the course of construction.
This residue makes its way out and that's why you will find it in the case, usually in the area of the output jack.

I believe there is a shampoo called "Rick & Shoulders" that should help.

My case gets stuff from the polish cloth, but that's it.

"Wood chips by the output jack."
[rip]
[poof]
[paper sliding out of envelope]
"What is the small particles in Mark's case?"
