Would anyone know the answer to this question. Is there a difference in the headstock's between the 60's 360 OS and a 80's 360 WB. If there is what would that be. If Dale or Paul can chime in thank you both in advance.

A later '80s 360WB would have a wider (paddle) headstock. There were a few different headstock shapes thru the 60s. None were as wide as the later 80s, '90s and 2000s. I've seen Paul W. post that newer headstocks would be narrower. Ya-hoo!

Hi John, Thank you. Would you know of a link that would show the "a-b" differences? Would that be true on early 80's WB's too?

My 660DCM has the same, narrower, headstock.
Narrowest 6 string headstocks were in the '60s, though...my '67 425 has a very narrow one, as do a couple of other '60s Ricks that have passed through my hands.
My '82 360WB has an oar.

660s have always had the narrower headstock. 620s, since the middle '80s have the wider headstock. Same with 300 Series.

The headstock on the 360DCM is much narrower than the standard 360 boat paddle, and is closer to 60s-era style (at least from the examples I've seen). Too bad not all of the new 360s are that way...
Jeffrey, your 660 is stunning!

That looks the same as mine, it is great that the vintage shape is back.
