I leave the "Made In U.S.A." stickers on all my Rickenbacker guitars. Do you?

I leave mine on, too. However, my new 730L, having no pickguard, had no sticker to remove!

I bought my last new Rickenbacker in 1988. The sticker didn't make it out of the store. If it was placed on the back of the headstock out of sight, I probably would have left it there.
So I guess i'm saying that I don't mind the sticker, but I just don't like where they place it.

I'll leave mine on until it starts to look tacky; like when it loses its color or starts to peel off by itself. I think we can all be proud of the fact that Rics are still "Made in the U.S.A!" ....May that never change!

I took all mine off, I didn't realize that people saved them when I bought new ones.

The 360/12 CW still has it's sticker. The 360 & 1997 doesn't.

Took mine off my 360/12 CW, and 1990 381/12.

Now that you mention it, I think there's a certain cool factor of not having it on. Mine's coming off. I would rather they put it say on the back of the headstock.

I moved it to the back of the headstock. That's a good compromise. Leaving it on the front is like wearing bookbag straps over both shoulders.

There's nothing quite like peeling that little sticker off a new guitar for the first time.
Sure, you might leave it on at first, trying to 'get to know' the guitar. Then you do what you've had on your mind since the beginning.
Slowly at first, fighting the animal instinct in yourself, you begin to pull the sticker away from the heaven below...

when I bought my 4001V63 new in 1985 it didn't come with the sticker. My '97 4003 I bought used but it was practically brand new - it didn't have the sticker. When my 4004 arrives I'm not sure what I'll do. I like the behind the headstock concept- Don I also like your thought. And yes Melissa may they always be made in the US of A!

Cheers
