360/12V64 sighting

Last Friday my wife and I went to Nashville to meet friends for dinner. Earlier we walked into Gruhn Guitars downtown and and a 360-12V64 jumped down off the wall and fell into my hands. I strummed it for only less than a minute as the salesman said, "there's nothing like the sound of a Ric 12". I didn't have time to plug it in but I knew what he was talking about.
I had checked out the guitar on their website several times after I got home. It was a 2000 model. They were asking 2250 and I was figuring how to swing a deal.
I logged on to the site Monday and guess what.... it wasn't there. This baby had been sold! I'm sure the new owner will enjoy it for a much longer time than the few seconds I had it in my hands. But, better to caress a Ric for a fleeting moment than never to have caressed a Ric at all.
