I confess, I seriously thought about pulling the trigger. However with the new DCM showing up, I considered that my wife might kill me.

I went back and forth for a few days myself. Last summer I would have pulled the trigger. I've settled down and realized I'm happy with mine and having two would be cool but my LK and two Laredos are good enough.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but how could this bass be #4, but made in 2005, while mine is #9, and made in 2001?

I thought I understood the system for certificate numbering but apparently not. Mine is #21, is serialed as an '03 and I'm the original owner who received it in '05. The carving on #4 is clearly the same as the later versions as well. I wouldn't hold my breath for a straight answer either.
