Mainly just cosmetic differences, but some of us find the unbound body to be more comfortable.

Sean, as long as there is nothing seriously wrong with the bass., BUY IT, at this price it is a steal. I am in the UK otherwise this bass would not still be for sale

That's not always a problem, Bob, I found my Shadow on CraigsList ($750) and you know where I live... Just give him a call or email him.

replaced is good. that means that as long as it is done right, it should work for a real long time..
