...a standard 4005 in DCM with the beautiful gold pickguard and TRC. Also with the check binding on the back and soundhole. And I could see it vividly.
Now that would be a beautiful looking bass.
I would like to see a 4005WB in that color as well with the check binding but this brings up a good question. Is there a way to do check binding on a WB/OS instrument? I know about the top tail end binding coming out of an angle and exposing some funny looking pattern but maybe there is some creative way of doing it?

Maybe it's not too late, Ed! Did Dale shoot your 4005 yet?

Damn, Damn, Damn, DAMN!!!
I was told not to do it and not by Dale.
I should have went with my gut and chosen the checkered binding.
Oh well, not sure if it would look good with the BBR finish.

I like how the Capri is breathtaking even if you can only see about a 6" square portion of it.

IMO Edgar, you made the right decission...As for resale value and originality. It will be a great looking and awesome sounding Bass. 1 thing you might consider, Gold pickguard and Truss Rod Cover to go with your stock white ones, since they can be replaced easily and would look very nice against the BBR finish.....

I love the reflection of his hand in the vibrola! and I believe that may be the top of his head in the guitar, there in that indentation thingy.
