After all these years believing Georges (B Sharp presentation guitar)the 'Stolen' 360/12 was produced in 1965. This was in a Beatles Monthly .George plays his Casino while both 12s appear in the picture as you see.Look at that jack plate.
New light has been shed in a series of Reverse image photos. Sent to Nasa to be despeckled. Also appearing in a Japanese book (not Rittor)

Q:
Anyone have this book?
A:_____________________?
a better photo exists there as well.

Q:Can you post these pics here please?
A: __________?

Anyway ..
The 1st Letter is up for your interpretation: I don't know how to post pictures here. The wood grain signature just pops out at you as if in 3D.
My guess is DI (September 1964).
"EI is out of discussion since that means September 1965, and he received the guitar in August 1965."
"EF", which would make it June?
"Those two little lines at the end of the "F" could easily be obscured under the right conditions, and two months from completion to delivery is a realistic timeline."

Ah, but the "first" 12-string laying flat on the table is actually Paul's 4001S bass. Notice one jack, controls on the left, four string ball ends showing through the bottom of the typical Rick bass tailpiece.

"...Funny , I was just was in Norms Rar]e guitars today, he has a 66/12 .The letters appear on the top of the plate..hmmm? wassup..?"

The practice of separating the numbers from the year/month letters seems to have started around the middle of 1966.

Does anybody know where I can get a high quality photo of George playing his Ric 12 string? I want good enough quality to frame and hang on the wall.

I like this one--not sure of the quality, but it's too big to post, so that's hopeful.

Mark, that photo of George is from Crosley Field in Cincinnati from the '66 tour! The photographer is Gordon Baer who I've met before. He has a website with all of his photos from that show for sale. Let me see if I can dig up his website.

Notice the Capo at the 7th fret and pick at the 9th. George used this guitar for those high tone sounds.
