I'm trying to get a '57 combo 400 back to the way it was supposed to be and can't find a source for the metal-bat toggle that should be there. Anyone know of a source for it?

Thanks in advance!

Looks like an old CH switch. They were sold to Eaton years ago. I needed something very similar for a Mills slot machine restoration a couple years ago and was able to find what I needed by visiting here:

http://commercialcontrols.eaton.com/VCBU/catalog/commcatl.pdx/Toggle.pdf

and then here:

https://www.alliedelec.com/

Hope that helps you!

The old metal bat switches were made by Carling.

Allied carries Carling switches as well. Looks good for your quest John!

Would a two way be an on-off switch?

Probably. Otherwise it would say on-on-on.

Thanks for the tips and help folks - it looks like the Carling made switch is an exact replacement! Woohoo!
