cool! I've been listening to "Singles Going Steady" many times the last few days. My band might cover "Autonomy"

Whenever I'm in the mood to play some of their material, usually after starting off with the Clash, it's on my 330. Glad to know I was onto it.

Cool!! I saw a Buzzcocks video about 10 years ago that had Steve Diggle playing a Ric. It's good to see that he's still using them. I wonder what those guys are using for amps nowadays. I assume they're no longer using the H&H, or Marshalls they used back in the day?

I've been listening to the Buzzcocks since 1979, when a high school classmate introduced me musically to them, the Clash, and the Ramones. I bought the "SIngles Going Steady" compilation at that time. My favorite album by them to this day is "A DIfferent Kind of Tension."

Diggle has used that 330 for years. When I saw them at the Palace in LA in the early 90s, he had 2 full Hiwatt stacks. Love that song ESP, and have actually used it in guitar lessons to show how a riff can be played over changing chords.

Damn, that brings back memories! I saw the Buzzcocks back in the early 80's late 70's at the Ritz (I believe) in NYC. For the life of me I can't remember what guitars they used then.

Somewhere back in the late '70's for me as well...can't remember where though, and would have been watching Steve playing bass rather than the other Steve playing 6 string...

Those are both classic albums. Two of my favorite!

Back then I seem to remember a yellow Gibson double-cut (maybe a Les Paul Junior?) and a black Music Man Sting Ray bass. Can't remember what the second guitar was....

Edit--

Just looked at a video for "I Don't Mind" from 1977--maybe from Top of the Pops. Looks like the second guitar (at least at the time) was a cherry Les Paul Junior.
