Pat welcome to the RRF.... An all original 1966 360/12 will depend on the condition to determine the price. A well played with average wear will bring 4K while one in excellent condition with very little wear can bring 7K on up. They must have original finish to be considered a collectors piece. Refinished ones will bring a good price, but not as much as original. They must also have all original parts, which is very important to determining the price. Example: a 4001 from 1973 with after market parts will sell for 1K, with all original finish and parts 2.5K

Hello Pat, and welcome as well! We can be far more accurate in helping you evaluate your guitar if you could take some good, well-lit, sharply focused digital photos of it and upload them here. Use your image editing program, either PhotoShop or the equivalent that may have come with your camera, and edit them to 500x500 pixels (height and width), and then use the "save for web" or other function to create images just less than 36 kB in file size. Then create a post to this thread, click the upload button for an attachment, and browse to the digital photo file on your hard drive. Repeat for each photo, then post the message to the Forum. We can take it from there, and give you a very good idea of your guitar's probable value
There is also an area on this Forum called "Appraisals" where these types of requests are more often posted. You are sure to get the quickest response if you post the photos there and ask for an appraisal of the guitar.

Kool, so just to ?reitterate?, this one IS all original, w/ every orginal screw. The Finish is a very nice n glossy and brightly colored still. Just the only thing is, is that DANG repaired neck!! Again, its a very clean looking repair. But they had to level the splint job and it took a good patch of the finish w/it. 5-7" or so. It's a realativly clean, leveled splint job, but obvious as all heck and visable from the cheaper seats! Ha. Sounds like it's a 3-5k RIC w/ a sore, damn neck. eh? What might you think it could post for in the auction world? I certainly wouldn't quote YOU, on this. I'd just like to know if it's worth letting go of. You know.... for the right $$ Well thanks again. Pat

Pat, with a repair, you're probably looking at closer to 3k.

Paul, I think that the low end of your range is a bit too low ...

I think every one of us would take then all day long for $300 - Even needing repairs!
